Operational Support Nurses
At Brown University Health, we are strengthening our nursing leadership structure to ensure our nurses have the support they need to deliver exceptional patient care. The Operational Support Nurse (OS RN) position provides opportunities for nurses to gain leadership experience, provide enhanced frontline support, and develop a better understanding of hospital operations, to set them up for success as their careers progress.
Operational support nurses work three 12-hour shifts per week and serve on quality committees for facility-wide initiatives. This schedule provides accessible and responsive leadership for nurses across all shifts.
